The Monasterio in figures
The effectiveness of what we do is attested every day by our patients and the people who work with us.
The data, however, also help to tell the story of our work. They bear witness to a way of conducting Research and Care that makes the Monasterio Foundation a Tuscan and Italian benchmark of excellence.

PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measures) is a survey, initiated at the Monasterio Foundation, on patients’ experiences of ordinary admissions.
The survey, promoted by the Region of Tuscany and carried out in collaboration with the Management and Healthcare Laboratory (Mes) of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, is addressed to all patients who have been admitted to our hospital under the ordinary regimen. All patients, on a voluntary basis, may take part in this survey; for paediatric patients, the parents or legal guardian of these patients may respond on a voluntary basis, taking into account their point of view.
The survey is carried out to collect information on the admission experience and it is used to monitor the quality of care provided during the admission, with particular regard to certain aspects such as involvement in the care pathway, communication and quality of care.
The information is collected, analysed anonymously and aggregated by the Mes.
