Areas and units

The “Ospedale del Cuore” born out from the experience of the Apuan Paediatric Hospital (OPA).

It operates mainly as a center of pediatric and adult cardiosurgery and cardiology, articulated in departments and operational units.

This section describes the area for adult cardiological and cardiac surgery patient admissions.

This section describes the area dedicated to the admission of neonatal, paediatric and adult congenital, cardiological and cardiac surgery patients.

In this section you will find a brief description of the cardiac surgery operating rooms and the haemodynamics laboratory

This section describes the area dedicated to outpatient activities of the Ospedale del Cuore, for all patients.

Diagnostic imaging is performed with the use of large equipment (CT and MRI).
