It offers a listening ear and help in the event of difficulties in accessing services or during the care pathway; it receives comments, suggestions, remarks and complaints in any form submitted by patients, their relatives or relatives-in-law, voluntary organisations or organisations for the protection of rights accredited by the appropriate region.

Non-healthcare support activities for patients
Read the regulations and information about non-health care support for inpatients.

The Fondazione Toscana Gabriele Monasterio (FTGM) offers its patients and guests the possibility to access, free of charge, high-speed Internet through its own Wi-Fi hotspot service.

How to use it
Each establishment of the Foundation provides a Wi-Fi network for guests.

To access the service, simply have a mobile device with Wi-Fi connection (tablet, notebook, smartphone) and, once connected to the network, register with your mobile number to the Foundation’s hot-spot service. Registration will allow you to access the Internet for a whole day.

The document detailing the procedure to be followed to obtain the connection is available at the concierges of the two facilities.

The Project
The activation and extension of the guest Wi-Fi service to the FTGM hospital facilities in Pisa and Massa represents an important step forward in the provision of cutting-edge technological services contained in the hospital’s development plan.

The offer of new value-added services is intended to improve “patients’ and guests’ lives”. The project, which is the natural continuation of the experimentation started about a year ago, was activated at zero cost thanks to the use of existing infrastructure and open source solutions.

All guests and, in particular, inpatients will be able to feel closer to their loved ones through the possibility of making video calls or using instant-messaging solutions that take advantage of Wi-Fi connectivity.
