Technologichal Transfer and Quality

Since 2017 is the CTO (Cief Tecnhology Officer) of FTGM and ISO Quality Manager. From 2007 to 2017 CIO (Cief Information Officier) of FTGM. Since academic year 2010/2011, as contract PROFESSOR, courses in Medical Informatics Software tools for health care to the Degree Course in Biomedical Engineering, University of Pisa. From 2003 to 2008 he was RESEARCHER at the Institute of Clinical Physiology in Pisa, has a degree in Computer Science (1995), a second degree in Information Technology (2003) and a Master of Software Open Source (2005) from the University of Pisa. He was CTO of a company in the Espresso Group and resp. technical development and launcher of the project “La Repubblica on-line.”

ACTIVITIES

Main focus of the unit is to deploy eHealth systems developed in FTGM in other healthcare providers, according to the italian regulation: from collection of users requests, to reconfiguration or development of components, to installation and training.
The Unit is responsible for the quality certification and monitoring of software system developed in FTGM for the complete production cycle and up to the certification as Medica Device Software according to EU regulations.
